Lauryn Williams’ Best Teamwork Moment

I’m Lauryn Williams, a four time Olympian and TrueSport ambassador, and today we’re going to be talking about teamwork. During four Olympic Games, I learned a lot about teamwork. The coolest opportunity that I can tell you guys about is the Bobsleigh where I worked together with nine other girls to learn the Bobsleigh in just six months. I had to learn how to push a 400 pound sled from a dead stop as fast as I possibly could in five seconds, jump in the sled, and then ride with a driver that I was depending on to get me to the finish line as soon as possible. There are a lot of things that I learned, like communication. I depended heavily on those girls to tell me what I needed to know because I was new to the sport and they had a lot more experience than I did. This is a really important lesson on working together with one another.
