TrueSport athletes know that eating healthy is one of our top priorities, especially before a competition. Carbs are your main energy source for exercise and proteins play a role in building muscle and fighting infection. Two hours before competition or exercise try to focus on foods that are low in fat and that contain carbs and moderate protein. Some examples include pasta with veggies, chicken, fruit, milk, cereal, yogurt, toast, and juice. Thanks for watching.
