Luke’s goal as a TrueSport Ambassador is to advance inclusion in sports and to destigmatize choosing to be different. He hopes that through telling his own story, he can be a voice that inspires aspiring athletes to always live authentically, to prioritize mental wellbeing while pushing their boundaries, and to feel empowered and emboldened to stand for what they believe in.
Luke Wang is a U.S. Figure Skating National Team Member who has risen quickly in the international ranks in Pairs over the last several seasons, reaching as high as top 20 in the world. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he began his figure skating journey in Singles and became a Junior National Level Competitor. In 2022, he moved to Colorado Springs to learn a completely new discipline, transitioning from Singles to Pairs. With his partner, Olivia Flores, the pair has earned opportunities to compete and perform around the globe, skating all the way to the top of the ISU World Junior Rankings last season. Known as “Live Laugh Luke” and being both charismatic and dynamic to watch, the two became U.S. Junior Pair Champions in 2024, won Silver at the 2024 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, won silver at the 2025 Junior Grand Prix Final, and cemented themselves as a talented team with a bright future ahead, ready to storm to their first Olympic Trials this coming winter.
Luke has a deep passion for figure skating and sports, recognizing the importance of preserving Leadership & Inclusion, Mental Wellness, Authenticity, and Integrity. He feels an immense honor bestowed upon him to represent his country and to champion Team USA values on the world’s largest stages. Whether he’s training on or off the ice or teaching the next generation of skaters, he’s built a steadfast commitment to promote and foster unity in his communities and abroad. He champions education and empowerment and is ready to face any challenges that come his way in hopes of inspiring and ensuring a brighter and healthier future for the next generation of talent.
