Kristen Dieffenbach Ph.D., CC AASP
Kristen Dieffenbach is an associate professor of Athletic Coaching Education at West Virginia University and an Association of Applied Sport Psychology certified consultant. Currently she is the president of NCACE, the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education. Kristen is also a professional coach with a category 1 (elite) USA Cycling license and a Level II endurance specialization from USA Track and Field. She has coached for over 20 years at the high school, collegiate, recreational, and elite levels and works with coaching education at all levels of performance. Her research interests include professionalism and ethics in coaching, athlete talent development and underrecovery. She is the author of numerous scientific papers and applied science chapters and the co-author of Bike Racing for Juniors.
